The transition from a glass overcoat (H suffix) to a resin based overcoat (P suffix) resulted in a more robust part much less prone to cracking. This transition also reduced manufacturing costs while keeping the electrical characteristics the same. Example: MCR03EZH vs. MCR03EZP Note: Both parts are RoHS compliant declaring exemption 5 (Lead in glass of cathode ray tubes, electronic components, and fluorescent tubes). | |
